I am actually surprised I don't see more of this pairing.  Even if Poseidon is a wrathful god, Julian himself seemed very warm and willing to make amends for the damage his alter ego caused.  I think he still cares for Saori and hopes to one day impress her enough for her to notice him.  I could see him finding a common bond with Jabu.
